Dear *,

I really think RHCE Loopback – http://www.redhat.com/rhceloopback/ – is a really good initiative.
Indeed, it permit to you and others like you to :

  • get together
  • meet close community.
  • exchange point of view about systems administration, infrastructure good practices, architectures.
  • share experiences, tips and technical tricks.
  • discuss new technologies.
  • hear from experts on current and future industry trends.
  • Learn about recent technology advances, as well as future implementations from the people who make it happen.
  • etc…

For my part, I think it should be opened to RHCT, JBCAA and non-RH certified people.

Now, the question is : When will we have a RHCE Lookback session in EMEA ? 😉

Best Regards
Frederic

Dear *,
You could find Magento rpm and srpm at the following page http://fhornain.fedorapeople.org.

However, these packages need Fedora package reviews. 😉
Let’s hope they should be in Fedora 13 asap !

Best Regards
Frederic

Dear *,

As you already probably know, no devroom is assigned to distribution any more at FOSDEM.
Now, FOSDEM TEAM invite us to have debate, brainstorm or do presentations for and with other distributions. Ref : http://www.fosdem.org/2010/distrominiconf

What I think is good for everybody.

Actually, I do not really know how really to manage that on the Fedora side cause it still no clear for me. I have already contacts with CentOS and Mandriva on that subject but we are still nowhere.
And FOSDEM is in 57 days.

Fortunately, I am not alone in that case 😉 (I mean other distributions)

Well, all I thing I need are speakers, stakeholders, developers and so on for the Fedora part on the following subjects in order to participate to the FOSDEM Distrominiconf.

* Packaging
* Localization
* Community Infrastructure
* Test and QA
* Governance
* Working with upstream

Please leave a comment if you are interested.
Thanks for your proposals.

Thanks for reading and your help.
Best Regards
Frederic

Let’s hope we will have a good vintage FOSDEM’10. 😉

I know Fernando would like to talk, but he is not sure he can get the travel approved.

If someone @ Red Hat could make that happens I would appreciate. 😉

Obviously, Fernando proposed me other candidate – David -. Nice !

So if the SHADOW MAN is reading and could help……. 😉

Thanks for your help and your time
